Something fishy is going on, indeed, but it is across E1s, so I can't see how it should be a malfunctioning camera I have, as the batch of E1s show the same (unwanted) and identical behavior. So, I can't really see it should be a router issue from the Unifi Dream Machine Pro. No other ARP/DNS timeouts reported for other devices on the IoT VLAN, although some TCP latency every now and then. But joining the same subnet still gives access to the cameras (Android app), even under these circumstances. At this stage, it is both across subnets and from the internet side, as well, that the connectivity is nonexistent. When the E1s show this behavior, I cannot externally connect to them either. H.265 will not work with my Networker Pro NVR. Unfortunately, not entirely, and this might be another candidate as contributing culprit in the cause of no connectivity across subnets, as only the E1 cameras keep getting DHCPOFFER every 6 minutes, with a a DHCPDISCOVER thrown in every now and then, too (see screen shot). Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for POE Camera, SV3C 3MP POE IP Security Surveillance. I have given the E1s fixed IPs, in order to reduce/eliminate DHCP issues, due to this, which seems to have alleviated some of the problem - some of the time. Sometimes, the E1 cameras have persistent ARP and DNS timeouts, which I can solve be powercycling them (unplug, wait 10 seconds and replug the power cable). Other devices on the IoT VLAN reponds as expected.Īnother problem I experience and may play into this as a separate or combined issue, is basic router/DHCP connectivity at times. Tracing route to 192.168.10.139 over a maximum of 30 hops Packets: Sent = 4, Received = 0, Lost = 4 (100% loss), Thanks again for great customer service.Well, it's no Wireshark log, but the E1 cameras do not respond to ping or tracert from the main LAN (192.168.1.0/24):

I have 3 more cameras to install but I do not feel there will be any issues. The people at SCW were great and issues were taken care of. They never tried to say that I must have done something wrong or that it was my fault in any way. SCW was very responsive and sent replacements instantly. The key is how you handle the hiccups and how your customer is protected. I work in manufacturing so I understand things happen.

I can not review the software yet as I have been concentrating on the camera issues. So hopefully they have the issue fixed and I will have them up and running tonight protecting my house. I contacted SCW again yesterday and they are air shipping 10 new cameras for delivery today. Needless to say I was not pleased after spending that amount of money on a security camera system especially since the robberies in the area are still happening daily. I contacted SCW after the first 2 failed and they asked me to test all 10 and sure enough all 10 were bad.
Every one of them produced a picture that is very blurry and not usable. The warriors on the other hand have a moisture issue on the inside of the lens. the Gladiator is great and did exactly what I wanted. I bought a 10 camera 4K system with 10 warrior 8 cameras and I added 1 gladiator to see the barn that is a little ways away. every person I talked to has been very patient and has helped a lot. Service is excellent and product issues were handle correctlyįirst of all I want to say the service itself has been excellent.
